Bio
LAMONT PALMER was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He now lives in a small community 30 miles outside of Baltimore. He attended Towson State University, studied Theatre and English literature while there, and at one time wanted to be an actor. In addition to poetry, he also writes fiction, essays, and has completed a novel that he says "I am painfully shopping around, so far with little success. But 'Valley of the Dolls' was rejected ten times before publication so there's always hope." In his spare time he enjoys reading, politics, playing Scrabble, long drives, big glasses of iced tea, and sometimes just staring into space in deep thought. With his work, he says he hopes to, "entertain and provoke some thoughts. I hope people read my poetry and fiction and relate it to their own experiences, or perhaps appreciate a new experience."
